Who is Tanya Merced?

This has to be one of the most difficult questions that I had to ask myself, and I can honestly answer and say I am a daughter of a great King and his name is Jesus Christ.  I am a wife, mother, teacher, daughter, sister and friend.  As a mother living with bipolar disorder and a child diagnosed with Aspergers' Syndrome I have battled against many things.  Rejection and insecurities resurfaced when I could not control the obstacles that were before me.

Jonathan the Elephant is a story created by my son Andrew who has Aspergers' Syndrome along with his eight year old cousin who illustrated the pictures.  Andrew and Ethan although limited in many ways believed that through friendship, prayer, and forgiveness anyone can receive healing.
